Training “The selected topics of inclusive education” in the context of higher education

Dear colleagues,

We bring to your attention a training seminar on “The selected  topics  of inclusive education” in the context of higher education.

 The training seminar was developed by a team of teachers and specialists in the field of inclusive education of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University as part of the European Union Erasmus + Program “DECIDE Project – Development of Services for People with Disabilities”.

This training seminar is designed to ensure maximum effectiveness in conveying important information about inclusiveness to the teaching staff of universities, civil servants of various government bodies, representatives of public organizations and society as a whole.

Our training workshop covers the following topics:

• Marketing and social marketing
• Modern understanding of inclusiveness and basic principles of education. Research methods in the field of social marketing.
• Categories and types of health restrictions. Legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on persons with disabilities.
• Information technologies in inclusive education
• Information technology with social marketing
• Experience of countries and universities in organizing a support service for students with disabilities Communication strategies in social marketing
• Celebration of the National Day of Awareness

Classes are held online at all stages of training, except for the last two classes, which are held in a mixed format. The course is designed for 36 hours, classes are held twice a week for 2-3 academic hours for free from May 18 to June 24. At the end of the training seminar, after the defense of the project, all participants will receive certificates of participation.
